MARCH 1, 2010 A resident on
CR 218 reported mailbox damage to his mailbox and two of his
neighbors. He requested that deputies close patrol the
area.
A motorist reported cows out on FM 1697. Deputy
Crockett was dispatched and ran the cows off the road into a
pasture.
Deputy Lapham was assigned to a sexual assault case.

MARCH 2, 2010
A resident on CR 118 called and reported that she heard
noises outside of her residence. Deputy Ray checked the
perimeter of the residence and did not locate anything out of
the ordinary.
The Sheriff’s Office received a call from a resident on
A caller reported that he had received a call from his
wife who told him that her ex-husband was at her residence and
he was refusing to leave. The husband who called has been
issued a criminal trespass warning and is not allowed at the
residence. Deputy Carvin, Deputy Durrenberger and Deputy
Aderhold responded to the residence and advised that everything
was fine between both parties. She did not want him
removed.
MARCH 3, 2010
A motorist reported that a brown truck was parked by the
wooden bridge on CR 306. Two young boys were spray
painting the bridge. Deputy Durrenberger was dispatched to
the scene and two subjects were arrested for criminal mischief.
Dispatch received a 9-1-1 call from a subject reporting
that a female fell off a four-wheeler and was unconscious but
breathing. The caller was connected to B&M ambulance who advised
to dispatch Starflight from
Deputy York was dispatched to CR 226 after a resident
called and reported a loud “boom” that shook her house.
Before his arrival, the complainant called back to disregard.
She advised a large truck had a tire blow out in front of her
residence.
A resident on PR 7037 called and complained that he was
having problems with his neighbor’s goats. Deputy York
checked on the goats and they were contained on their own
property.
Deputy Lapham and Deputy Carvin were dispatched to PR 4301
after the Sheriff’s Office received a call that a female that
was served an eviction notice was tearing up the trailer.
Deputies advised that the call was a civil matter.
A caller reported a break in at a residence on PR 7039.
Deputy Carvin met with the subject and a report was made.
Deputy York met with a complainant and took a report
concerning criminal mischief on PR 7039. A report was made
and charges are pending at this time.
Deputy Durrenberger was dispatched to a burglary of a
residence on FM 141. The perimeter of the residence was
searched. Fingerprints were taken and evidence was added
to the report. Investigation continues on this case.
A motorist reported a reckless driver on CR 330. The
white Chevrolet crew cab pickup was last seen heading southbound
on Hwy 77. Deputy Carvin responded from Fedor Estates and
Deputy Durrenberger responded from Giddings.
Deputy Aderhold was dispatched to CR 113 after a caller
reported a suspicious vehicle blocking the entrance of the old
dumping ground. The vehicle was gone prior to his arrival.
MARCH 4, 2010
Deputy York took seven inmates to County Court. Two
females and one male were arrested in court and booked into Lee
County Jail.
A caller reported that his wife had gone crazy. He
stated that she threw furniture and other house hold items at
him. He left the residence and waited for an officer at
the entrance of PR 4306. Deputy Aderhold was dispatched.
A hospital called and advised that they had the subject’s wife
in their emergency room reporting that her husband had injured
her and she wanted to file charges. The case is still
under investigation.
Deputy Aderhold was dispatched to a report of vandalism on
PR 4301. After investigation it was determined that this
was a civil matter.
An alarm company reported motion at Boyd’s Quick Stop on
Hwy 21. Deputy Aderhold was dispatched and a burglary
report was made. Sheriff Meyer
reported that a white male was sitting in the Wal-Mart parking
lot over night with several back packs. Deputy York
responded. The subject was checked for any outstanding
warrants and was clear. Since the subject had not eaten in
a few days, Deputy York stopped and got him a meal and gave the
subject a courtesy ride out of Deputy Carvin was dispatched to a suspicious vehicle that was parked in front of a residence on PR 4301. The vehicle and driver checked out. Everything was okay.
MARCH 5, 2010
Deputy York took eleven inmates to District Court.
After court was adjourned he served several civil papers.
While on routine patrol Deputy Aderhold came upon a
vehicle that was left abandoned on FM 141. The vehicle was
partially in the roadway. Due to being a traffic hazard a
wrecker was called and the vehicle was towed.
Chief Deputy Kothmann put up a brown cow that was out on
Hwy 21 near CR 114.
An anonymous caller reported that she was concerned that
two horses and some calves did not have access to food or water.

A motorist reported cows out on FM 1624. The caller
reported that the fence was broken and the cows would probably
continue to get out. Deputy Easley responded and the owner
was notified.
Deputy Robertson responded to a local business alarm on
Hwy 290. All the gates and locks were secure.
Several motorists reported a brush fire that appeared to
be getting close to a building on Hwy 21. Deputy Ray
responded and advised that people were on the scene watching the
fire. Everything was fine.
Deputy Ray, Deputy Robertson and Deputy Aderhold responded
with the Lexington Fire Dept. to a residence on FM 3403 in
MARCH 6, 2010
An emergency unit called and reported that a white truck
passed them at a high rate of speed in Warda heading northbound
on Hwy 77. Deputy Carvin, Deputy Robertson and Deputy
Easley responded and attempted to locate the truck. Deputy
Carvin came upon the vehicle at Hwy 77 @ Hwy 290. The
truck suddenly spun its’ tires and began driving north on Hwy 77
at approx 100 miles per hour while Deputy Carvin was behind him.
The truck finally stopped at Hwy 77 @ FM 1624. The driver
was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated.
Deputy Ray assisted Lexington Officer Kelly at the scene
of an accident on Hwy 77 near the Dollar General Store.
A resident on CR 314 reported that his mailbox had been
knocked down sometime during the night. Deputy Crockett
took a report.
Deputy York was dispatched to Shady Oaks after a caller
reported that her ex-husband drove from out of town to her
residence and threatened to take their kids away if she
continued to see another man. The caller stated that there
was a history of domestic violence between the two. Deputy
York spoke to both parties. The father was allowed to
visit his children and then left without incident.
A very angry caller advised that there were people on
horses blocking traffic flow on FM 141 in front of Doozie’s.
Deputy Crockett checked and patrolled the area.
Deputy Carvin and Deputy Robertson were dispatched to an
ATV accident on CR 430. Upon arrival, everyone was gone.
Deputy Ray and Deputy Robertson were dispatched to a
possible break in at Westwood Villa Apartments. After
investigation if was determined to be a criminal mischief case
and not a burglary.
A motorist reported that there is a trailer house on a
curve that is out on the road on CR 326. Deputy Aderhold
was dispatched and reported that the trailer’s wheels on one
side are stuck in the mud. They have reflectors out in
front and in back of the trailer.
MARCH 7, 2010
A caller reported that there was a man near Subway
attempting to get a ride to
A motorist advised that a Dodge truck had been parked on
the westbound side of Hwy 290 East. It has been there for
over an hour and the window is down and it has been raining.
He was concerned for the driver. Deputy Carvin checked on
the vehicle and no one was inside.
Deputy York, Deputy Robertson and Deputy Carvin were
dispatched to a disturbance on CR 326. A female claimed
her husband was attempting to take their vehicle and leave.
She then began to scream that he had assaulted her and she
wanted to press charges.
A subject came into the Sheriff’s Office and was
requesting a civil standby while she picked up her son from her
brother. Deputy Ray spoke to the complainant.
Deputy Easley was dispatched to CR 216 after a resident
reported that several juveniles were out making a bunch of noise
close to her house.
