Lee County Sheriff's Report

Monday, February 11, 2013

 

Monday 18th

Deputy Rudolph and Chief Deputy Lapham received a report about possible sexual abuse of a child a report was made and is under investigation.

Some cows were reported on the roadway on Cr 309 near the fire station; Deputy Ledenbach responded and removed the cows from the road.

Deputy Jirasek and Deputy Carvin removed some cattle reported out on Hwy 77 about a mile south of Fm 3403.

Multiple reports of mailbox damage were received on Cr 117, Cr 143, and Cr 114. Deputy Jirasek and Deputy Carvin took a report on the mailboxes.

A motorist reported a reckless driver on Hwy 21 Trooper Early was able to locate and stop the vehicle.

Deputy Jirasek and Deputy Carvin were unable to locate some debris reported in the lane of traffic on Hwy 290.

A caller reported some bags of trash on the side of the road on Cr 409 near Cr 410 Deputy Crockett was dispatched.

 

Tuesday 19th

Trooper Weiser completed a motorist assist on Hwy 21, after an 18 wheeler was reported broke down and partially in the lane of traffic.

Deputy Ledenbach assisted Trooper Weiser on a car accident on Hwy 21 near the county line.

Some debris was removed by Deputy Ledenbach on Hwy 77 near Fm 1624.

Deputy Ledenbach took a report for theft on Cr 118.

 

Wednesday 20th

A caller reported that the snack and soda machine was broken into on Hwy 290 Deputy Ayers took a report.

Deputy Carvin responded to a car accident on Hwy 77 it was released to the city police department.

Caller reported that an ambulance was needed at an oil well site on Cr 120 for an accident. Sheriff Meyer, Deputy Allen, Deputy Carvin and B&M Ambulance service were dispatched. A report was taken on the incident.

Six cows were reported on the road on Cr 309, Deputy Liles was dispatch but was unable to locate.

 

Thursday 21st

Some cows were reported out on Cr 117 Deputy Allen responded but was unable to locate.

A disturbance was reported on Cr 232, Deputy Allen and Chief Deputy Lapham responded to the call.

A caller reported that somebody broke into his house Deputy Allen and Deputy Ayers responded to the call.

A trailer with a four wheeler on it was left on some property on Fm 180 Deputy Liles checked on it.

Deputy Rudolph took a report for a burglary of a habitation on Cr 404.

Deputy Liles removed a deer carcass from Hwy 77 about three miles south of Giddings.

 

Friday 22nd

A motorist reported that some cattle was out on Cr 117 Deputy Ledenbach was unable to locate any cattle on the road.

A disturbance was reported at the Fair Grounds Deputy Jirasek and Deputy Carvin responded.

Some calves were reported out on Hwy 77 near Hwy 21 Deputy Ledenbach responded but was unable to locate any animals on the road.

Giddings Police Department requested assistance in the location of a vehicle involved in a hit and run. Deputy Ray searched around but was unable to locate the vehicle on Cr 208.

 

Saturday 23rd

Deputy Liles removed some cows off of Fm 3403 near Hwy 21.

There was a suspicious vehicle reported on Cr 113, Deputy Jirasek and Deputy Carvin checked on the vehicle all was ok.

Deputy Jirasek and Deputy Carvin assisted Trooper Manner on a one car rollover accident on Hwy 21 near Hwy 77.

Deputy Ledenbach responded to a panic alarm on Cr 216 all was ok.

A horse was reported on the road on Cr 113 Deputy Ledenbach was able to get the horse off the road.

Deputy Ray assisted Trooper Manner on a motorcycle accident on Hwy 77.

 

Sunday 24th

Deputy Ledenbach and Deputy Ray responded to an assault on Kay St. A report was taken and is under investigation.

Deputy Ray responded to a car accident on Fm 696 nobody was around the owner was notified.

Caller stated that there were some construction barrels in the road on Fm 448 Deputy Ledenbach check on it and moved the barrels out of the road way.
