2009-2010 Lady Buffs The Lady Buff have a bench loaded with well-rounded talent. Strong senior leadership provided by Jena Meuth, Jordan Masek, and Maegan Bradley is complimented by the speed and quickness of young players Kayla Winkfield and Darrecia Johnson. Add in the height and size options provided by juniors Cassidy Melcher and Caitie Carney and sophomore Allyson Roberts and the Lady Buffs should be able to stack up well against most any opponent.
So far the team has shown a diversified offensive attack that has racked-up an average of nearly 69 points per game. A strong defensive effort has allowed, on the average, just over 30 points a game. The squad, coached again this year by Lee Essman, has controlled each of their challengers, flooring the appropriate talent each game to get the job done.
Next up: Tuesday the group will travel to Hallettsville to face the Lady Brahmas then to Lorena for tournament play in the Leopard Invitational.
